Dr. Mary Catherine O’connor, PHD is a Clinical Psychologist in Clifton Park, NY. She is well known and recommended forensic elevator within the Saratoga, Albany, Schenectady and Rensselaer County family court circuit. She was initially recommended by Luke Walker’s attorney, Joseph Drescher to Judge Cholakis. That should have been the first clue of what a biased forensic evaluator this woman is.
Approximately August 2019, Attorney for the Child, Matt Foley, Esq. in a custody hearing testified that a forensic evaluation conducted by Dr. Mary O’Connor stated that Dr. Mary O’Connor said the mother was unfit to seek medical care for her children because she practices Buddhism. In the 2019 court ordered forensic evaluation, Dr. Mary O’Connor was given a huge binder of over 60 photos of sexual exposure and parenting alienation by Sara Miller-Hornick and Luke Walker. Dr. Mary O’Connor, Dr. Mary O’Connor recommended 50/50 parenting time but also recommended that Luke Walker have the final say in parenting decisions because apparently taking the children to BDSM workshops run by his paramore, Mistress Couple, is better parenting decisions.
Obviously, with the shit-tastic bias job O’Connor did, I gave her a bad review [link]. Dr. O’Connor has many unflattering reviews from parents in disputed custody battles that say similar things [link].
Judge Richard Rivera ordered a second updated evaluation for the parties in Walker v. Walker (2018) naming Dr. Mary O’Connor as the court-appointed forensic evaluator. Judge Richard Rivera recused himself from Walker v. Walker in February 2022 and Judge Anthony McGinty was assigned to the case.
In the 2021 Forensic Evaluation, Dr. Mary O’Connor unethical recommended mother extremely restrictive parenting time because of fear of what the mother might say about the registered sex offender's father and his sex worker girlfriend, giving more power to an abusive spouse:
“Ms. Walker would forfeit unsupervised parent time if she failed to attend at least 80% of scheduled counseling appointments if she retracted or canceled her consent for shared information between her counselor and the mediator, if she disparaged Mr. Walker to the children, or if she engaged in harassing and threatening comments and behavior toward Mr. Walker and Ms. Miller-Hornick. The mediator must be informed of any infractions and address these concerns with Ms. Walker’s counselor. Mr. Walker should be able to petition the court and immediately suspend Ms. Walker’s unsupervised parent time with the children until Ms. Walker complied with eh requirements of unsupervised visits for a period of time of at least three months”
Dr. Mary O’Connor received pages and pages of evidence of the physical and sexual abuse of Luke Walker and Sara Starchild. Does she not have any professional and legal obligation to protect the children? Why is it Ok for the mother to not speak out about abusers and take the children away from the mother because she does? Dr. Mary O’Connor protects these sexual predators and harms children.
In June of 2022, I filed a 42 U.S.C 1983, against Dr. Mary O’Connor [link], in which was dismissed in the Northern District [once again]. Dr. Mary O’Connor retaliated against me during the Walker v. Walker trial of November 2022 and once again, Judge McGinty allowed the abuse to continue.
Dr. Mary O’Connor has been under scrutiny in similar cases for protecting abusers. I’m not the only parent in which Dr. O’Connor blatantly ignored abuse for some unknown reason. In a similar case in Schenectady County with the same Judge presiding (Judge Rivera) in the same year (2021),“Dr. O'Connor '' claims that this mother, who was just indicted on more charges has… NO PARENTING DEFICITS and should retain custody of her children even though a foster child was killed in her care.

Dr. Mary O’Connor has failed Charlie (d.), my children and many others, including my children, Rosie and Trey Walker. After media scrutiny and mounting legal troubles, including several lawsuits, Dr. Mary O’Connor claims she “retired” in 2022 and moved out of state. Her phone listed on google has been disconnected.
If I can give any advice, please avoid court order forensic evaluations. They are a waste of time, and like other state actors, protect abusers in the family court system.
